Our Story
Fruitful Vines, born 2018 in Texas, is the brainchild of a small group of Americans with Nigerian heritage. Fruitful Vines began with a very simple idea: Provide much needed financial opportunities for the downtrodden women and girls in Africa and around the world.
The idea became a reality when small loans were provided to widows in Nigeria to help start a business. These loans dramatically improved the quality of life for these women, and they repaid within agreed upon terms. Our collaborative attitude and deep understanding of the rural issues helped overcome many challenges.

Our vision is to have a world where widows and orphaned young women, have the opportunity to earn a fair wage and pull themselves free from the shackles of poverty.
Our mission is to facilitate financial, emotional and material resources to support the transformation of downtrodden women around the world. As fundraisers and grant makers we believe in prudent, ethical and responsible stewardship of all funds and resources in our care.
